About Elizabeth
Elizabeth is a family physician with a focused practice in group psychotherapy in unceded Algonquin territory (Ottawa, Ontario). Her identities include being White, cis, straight, and able-bodied, as well as living with mental illness. In addition to IFS she is also level 2 trained in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and co-facilitates Mindful Self-compassion groups. Her clinical interests include climate grief, gender identity exploration, healing interpersonal anxiety through connection, and finding meaning in life. She works through non-pathologizing, attachment, and cultural humility lenses and engages in ongoing learning in anti-racist and anti-oppressive frameworks.
